Adhunika Foundation’s 23rd annual fundraising event is set to take place on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. This event aims to empower women and children in Bangladesh by supporting various projects. Join for an evening of electrifying performances by renowned local Bangladeshi artists, featuring music, dance, poetry, and more. Experience the gala, network with fellow supporters, hear from donors and volunteers, and celebrate the foundation’s mission. Refreshments will be available for purchase to make the evening even more enjoyable.

Limited free and paid street parking is available at the venue.

Sneha Fundraising and Documentary

The Annual Sneha Fundraising and Documentary event will be held in Connecticut on April 8th.

About Sneha:

Sneha – an organization of sisterhood of South Asian women in Connecticut. Sneha works primarily with Bangladeshi, Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Afghani and Nepalese women. The organization supports and provides referrals to women of South Asian origin in Connecticut, especially survivors of domestic violence, and to encourage dialogue about such cultural topics as immigration, inter-generational communication, and financial independence.

About the documentary: 

Directed by Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, Geeta Gandbhir, A Journey of a Thousand Miles: Peacekeepers follow a group of Bangladeshi women police officers on a UN peacekeeping mission to Haiti. The film portrays the emotional toll of a risky and grueling year abroad as UN peacekeepers. Muslim women are often kept at a distance in the Western media. This film offers a rare and up-close look as they make the best of a difficult situation.

Q & A session with the film’s field producer and editor Nandita Ahmed, Silent Auction, and Dinner will follow.

SpaandanB Openhouse & Fundraising Event 2017

SpaandanB Openhouse and Fundraising event 2017 will be held in Union City, California, USA. The event is to raise funds for SpaandanB’s projects to improve the lives of many disadvantaged people in Bangladesh. Bangladeshi singer Kumar Bishwajit, drummer and percussionist Mithun Chakr, performances by Bay Area kids and other artists will attend and entertain the audience.

This is a reserved seating event and you need to purchase tickets. Tickets are available online. Choose your preferred seats. Seating will start at 5:00 pm, program will begin at 5:30 pm. There will be food available for you to purchase. Free parking will be available at the school premises. ASHA Fundraising 2016

Autism Society Habilitation Association (ASHA) will organize their first annual fundraising event in Jackson Heights, New York. The event will celebrate the work of ASHA, future plan, provide information about Autism in general as well as there will be fun with food, music dance, comedy and social interactions.

Fundraising of Dhaka Ahsania Mission USA

Fundraising of Dhaka Ahsania Mission USA will be held in New York City on May 14. The principal aim of the fundraising is to raise money to build a Children’s City for 1000 children where essential education, vocational training and other life skill training can be provided to poor and orphan children of Bangladesh. The proposed project will also have sports and work preparedness facility. 25,000 are expected to raise at the event.
