The Bangladesh Dental Association of North America (BDANA) serves as a prominent voice in the dental profession, representing dentists of Bangladeshi origin and the Bangladeshi community residing in the United States and Canada. BDANA offers dental services, educational programs, and training initiatives to promote knowledge, advocacy, and dental counseling among Bangladeshi dentists and their community members. Established in 1990 by Bangladeshi dentists residing in the United States, BDANA has experienced significant growth in the past decade. Since 1991, the association has been registered as a not-for-profit organization in New York. Through its extensive membership, BDANA strives to foster interest in oral health careers among Bangladeshis and provides essential tools and support to those already serving the Bangladeshi population.

Mission:

Exchange ideas, protect journalists’ rights, and provide information to the Bangladeshi community in the USA.

Goals:

Promote friendly relations, educate the next generation about Bangladeshi culture, and provide support to Bangladeshi media professionals.

Activity
  •  Organizational Goals: Promote mutual assistance and cooperation among Bangladeshi media professionals, maintain friendly relations between Bangladeshi media professionals and other nationalities, and educate the next generation about Bangladesh’s tradition, culture, heritage, and values.
  • Community Services: Provide free, honest, accurate, and timely information to the Bangladeshi community, keep Bangladeshi citizens informed about political, social, and economic changes in Bangladesh and the world, and collect relief and funds for distressed media professionals.
  • Professional Development: Organize training, seminars, sessions, and discussions to enhance media professionals’ skills and job prospects.
