The America Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ABCCI) is a platform for Bangladeshi American businessmen, Non-Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) businessmen, and professionals from diverse business sectors. Its primary objective is facilitating investment and business opportunities for Bangladesh in domestic and international markets. The organization has members committed to promoting investment and expanding trade opportunities for Bangladesh. ABCCI functions as an information exchange center, fostering better business practices among the business communities of both countries. To promote investment and expand trade opportunities for Bangladesh domestically and internationally, the America-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ABCCI) facilitates connections between diverse professionals, sharing insights and exploring potential collaborations.
Activities
ABCCI focuses on three core areas to support its members:
1. Network Building
- Organizes trade missions to assist members in enhancing their business endeavors. Facilitates members’ attendance at inter-country and international business conferences and summits aligned with their needs. Additionally, it manages various exhibitions to showcase members’ businesses and can organize demand-driven exhibitions for particular companies and participants.
2. Wider Recognition
- Hosts award ceremonies with expert jury boards to recognize top performers in business and various professions.
3. Brand Building
- Enables members to build their global business or professional brand, including in the USA and Bangladesh. Covers member events and achievements in mainstream media. Manages social media pages to connect members with policymakers, the business community, think tanks, and media professionals.
