Business Description
The mission of the Bangladeshi American Law Enforcement Foundation Inc. (BALEFI) is to prevent delinquency and crime among the Bangladeshi-American community. Founded in April 2019, as a not-for-profit (DOS #5501171), the organization encourages Bangladeshi Americans to participate in lawful civic duties, be good American citizens, and practice democracy. The Bangladeshi American Law Enforcement Foundation also helps Bangladeshi Americans find employment in law enforcement, the military, border patrol, and immigration by disseminating information about job opportunities, career fairs, and related events.
BALEFI Mission
- Help Bangladeshi Americans find jobs in the law enforcement sector (jobs in the police, military, coast guard, border patrol, national guard, and immigration)
- Prevent delinquency and crime among the Bangladeshi American community.
- Explain how a law enforcement job is a better career choice in terms of responsibilities, pension, job security, etc.
- Encourage civic participation.
- Inspire the Bangladeshi community to have a positive impact on society.
