Common Core
The Common Core is the newest version of the State tests students have been taking for decades from the third grade. The goal of the common core is to create a universal testing system to ensure that children are prepared for college and careers. A math and English language arts test is administered every year during March and April. Classes, beginning in January, are designed to ensure that each student is fully prepared for test day by focusing on content review and practice, and having students work with peers to develop their test taking skills.

Fourth grade science test
The fourth grade science test is a two-part exam administered during late May/early June of the school year. The exam can be daunting for many students because it requires analytical knowledge and real-world application. Classes begin during mid-Spring and cover all the topics tested on the exam as well as some advanced material to ensure that every student is more than prepared for test-day and grasping scientific concepts as they move forward.
