Daganbhuiyan Social and Welfare Association North America is an organization of Bangladeshi community in USA and Canada who migrated from Dagonbhuiyan area of Bangladesh. It is an Upazila of Feni district in Chittagong division. Daganbhuiyan Social Welfare Association was founded in 1994 in New York City. The association is run by 11 members who are elected every two years by its members.
The association’s prime aim is to keep contact with the fellow Daganbhuiyans living in North America (mainly New York City) and organize events to increase social interactions among the members. Picnic, Iftar, discussion, cultural program etc are arranged every year.
