Globe Bengali Mohila Shamity is an organization of Bangladeshi women in London, UK that works for the development of Bangladeshi women. The organization encourages the women to become self-reliance and encourage them in community engagement activities that enable local residents to develop cohesion and resilience; and economic engagement projects that provide the first steps towards accessing specialist employment training, education and employment opportunities for residents identified as furthest away from employment.
Globe Bengali Mohila Shamity’s programs are designed to support the development, capacity building and sustainability of the organization and to assist with the delivery of key services and initiatives.
General membership is open to any female over the age of 18 living in Bethnal Green araa. However, only members who have completed 12 months membership period are eligible to stand for MC position and/or can vote at special general meetings and the annual general meeting.
