Bangladesh Association of Ireland (BAI), now know as All Bangladeshi Association of Ireland (ABAI), is an organization of Bangladeshi Community in Ireland. Established in 2007 in Dublin, capital of Ireland, All Bangladeshi Association of Ireland organizes Bangladeshi cultural, social, religious events for community members. Events include, Pohela Boishakh (Bangla New Year), Ekushey February (International Mother Language Day), Eid festivals, etc. National events like Bangladesh Independence Day, Victory Day are also observed. Some event focuses on fund raising for Bangladeshi flood victims or natural disaster victims. ABAI also organizes picnics, soccer/football matches for its members.
As a charitable social organization (Company Reg # 484362), the principal aim of the All Bangladesh Association of Ireland (ABAI) is to create a sense of feeling of Bangladesh in Ireland. Most of events of ABAI are done by volunteers and sponsored by local Bangladeshi business community. The organization has its own constitution and is govern by an Executive Committee (EC).
