The Bangladeshi American Community Development and Youth Services, Inc. (BACDYS) was established in 2011 by Misba Abdin, a business owner, community activist and life-long resident of East New York in response to the needs of the South Asian American and East New York community. BACDYS, organized as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization borders the neighborhoods of East New York, Brooklyn and Ozone Park, Queens and, hence, we serve residents from both boroughs.
