Bangladesh Association in Brisbane (BAB) is a social, non-profit organization committed to build a multicultural Australian society by promoting Bangladeshi culture, lifestyle, language, tradition among the people living in Brisbane. The prime objective of BAB is to create and maintain goodwill among all Bangladeshis, Australians and other ethnic communities in Australia. Not only the Bangladeshi born Australians or Bangla speaking people living in Brisbane, but also all the people who are interested in Bangla language or Bangladeshi culture are welcome to join BAB or participate in BAB programs or activities.

Bangladesh Association in Brisbane organizes social, cultural and sporting activities. Seminars, debates, conferences, workshops on topics of interest to Bangladesh and Australia are also part of BAB’s program. It also assists newly arrived Bangladeshi in all possible ways to settle in Australia. The association was founded in 1992.
