International Festival of WNY 2025

The International Festival of WNY is scheduled for Cheektowaga Town Park on August 30 and 31. Greater Dhaka Association Buffalo organizes the event, which is sponsored by local Bangladeshi businesses. At the event, vendors will showcase and sell their merchandise, and local businesses will sell Bangladeshi foods in one place. Local performers, artists, and singers will entertain the crowd.

The event is Free to participate in and open to all communities.

Buffalo Bangladesh Literary Meetup

Buffalo Bangladesh Literary Meetup, also known as Buffalo Sahitto Asor, is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 7. At the event, the writers discuss Bangla literature, recite poetry, tell stories, welcome new writers, and more. The event is organized in cooperation with Buffalo Bangladeshi Community Help, a Bangladeshi support group.

The event is free and open to all.

2025 Bangla Book Fair, Buffalo

Greater Buffalonians, also known as the Bangladeshi community in Buffalo, will organize the Bangla Book Fair (Boimela) on Saturday and Sunday, September 13 and 14, 2025. The event will also celebrate Bangladeshi culture, community, and connection. A souvenir will be published with Bangla poems and stories.

The event is free and open to everyone. Vendors can participate by paying a reasonable fee. Book buyers will receive a coupon to enter the raffle draw.

Buffalo Bangladesh Restaurant Night 2025 will be held at the Buffalo Trade Center. This outdoor event aims to recognize and celebrate the food and restaurant ventures of the Bangladeshi community in Buffalo. Local Bangladeshi restaurants, snack shops, bakeries, and eateries are invited to participate, showcase their products, and sell their products to a broader Buffalo community in one place.

2025 BASCO Banglafest

2025 Bangladeshi American Social & Cultural Organization (BASCO) will organize its 5th Annual Banglafest on Sunday, August 3rd. The event will feature a day of community gathering, vendors, and cultural exchange. This year’s special highlight is a concert by the Bangladeshi band Nagar Baul, led by James, the band’s lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist. This year’s BASCO Banglafest is an unforgettable experience filled with great music, culture, and connections.

Banglafest Bangla mela is open to all.

FOBANA Convention-2, 2025

A group of Bangladeshi community members will hold the FOBANA Convention 2025 in Niagara Falls, Buffalo, from August 29 to Aug 31. The main objective of this FOBANA conference is to increase unity and solidarity among Bangladeshis living in the USA, promote Bangladeshi culture and heritage, improve the living standards of the expatriates through various social, cultural, and educational activities, and build bridges between the United States and Bangladesh in different fields.

FOBANA Convention-2, 2025 aims to bring all FOBANA-registered Bangladeshi organizations under one banner. The Bangladeshi convention committee seeks to include the emerging Bangladeshi community living, working, and doing business in Buffalo. Members of the Bangladeshi community from New York and New Jersey are expected to join the convention. Participants can attend various business networking events, discussions, seminars,  cultural programs, and receptions.

The organizers selected ‘Let the new generation of expatriates be the power of the next FOBANA’ as the convention’s principal theme.

This convention is free to attend.

Vendors can book a general stall between $300-$450 and a food stall for $800-$1000.
