Bangladeshi Unplugged – a stand-up comedy event will be presented by comedian Ali Mehedi, founder of Laughing Lassi, on Sunday, October 19.
Forget the tired stereotypes – Bangladeshis are not just driving Ubers or working behind kitchen doors. They are writing scripts, building startups, performing on stage, directing films, leading teams, and reshaping industries. Bangladeshis are artists, engineers, founders, and dreamers, and this is just getting started.
Bangladeshi Unplugged is a comedy show that brings together Bangladeshi professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives in a bold and high-energy setting. It’s a place where Bangladeshis can connect, laugh, and share stories freely, without any filters. The show features some of the sharpest Bangladeshi-American comedians, who blend stand-up comedy with networking and classic Adda and redefine what it means to be Bangladeshi in America.
