Score Breakdown

Private Interview (35%): Contestants will engage in a 10-minute private interview before the judges’ panel. They will be asked a wide range of questions, including questions about the contestant’s platform, social and political global and national issues, Bangladesh and its culture, and behavioral questions. This is an opportunity for the contestant to showcase what they know and have the judges learn more about the contestant without the pressures of being on stage. Please wear business, professional attire for this portion.

Platform Issue (25%): Contestants will prepare a one-minute speech or presentation on their social issue of choice. This is to raise awareness and express passion about the issue. You may get as creative as you want. It does not have to be memorized, but you are encouraged to do it. You may wear anything you seem fit for in this portion.

Talent (15%): This is your chance to showcase your talents. Do you like to sing, dance, or do something else? You can engage the audience with what you love to do. Contestants will need to prepare a 1-minute-and-30-second talent piece. Please submit the talent request form as soon as possible to get your chosen song. It must be in Bangla or English. If you choose something other than those, ensure it is an instrumental and no other language is heard. You may wear anything you may seem fit for this portion.

Cultural Wear (20%): Contestants will be asked to wear what they believe best defines Bangladeshi culture. You can get as creative as you want. For instance, are your parents or family from a specific state of Bangladesh? You can represent that state’s outfit.

On-Stage Question (5%): Contestants will be asked to wear party/evening saris, do a short walk, and answer a current events question on stage.
