Bronx Bangladesh Street Fair 2025

Bangladesh Society of Bronx, New York, will organize Bronx Bangladesh Street Fair 2025, Bangla Mela or Bangladesh Pothomela, on Sunday, August 31, a Bangladeshi community event. The street fair will allow the Bronx’s Bangladeshi community to celebrate Bangladeshi culture, community, and heritage. Community members from all five boroughs are expected to join the festival. This is a free, family-friendly event open to all communities.

Highlights

  • Live Music & Cultural Performances: Local Bangladeshi singers, musicians, and dancers will entertain the audience.
  • Food Stalls: Vendors will serve mouthwatering Bangladeshi street food from Jhalmuri, Fuchka/pani puri, Shingara, and Murki mishti/sweets.
  • Shopping Stalls: Vendors will sell colorful sarees, salwar kameez, jewelry, handicrafts, and toys. Many stalls are run by local businesses or home-based businesses showcasing their wares.
  • Kids’ Activities: Rides, toys, and games keep the little ones entertained while parents enjoy the festivities.
