Bongomela by Dhroopad

Bongomela/Bangamela (বঙ্গমেলা) 2015 will be organized by Dhroopad of Washington DC. Dhroopad expects to present a sublime cultural spectacle of Bangalee performing arts – classical songs, music, dance, drama, and poetry recitation, among others.
This unique two-day Bangla Cultural Festival involves the Bangalee Diaspora from across the borders. The culture, the music, the drama, the food, the renowned names and the aspiring faces, the epiphany of the east, and the glamor of the west will be brought together in an effort to relive and enrich ourselves, to guide the toddling feet of our younger generations and introduce them to this heady, warm, Tagoresque landscape of Bangla culture.
