USA Bangabandhu Parishad (যুক্তরাষ্ট্র বঙ্গবন্ধু পরিষদ) is a non-political, not-for-profit organization in the United States that upholds the ideology of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding father of Bangladesh. USA Bangabandhu Parishad promote the the idea of a secular Bangladesh and formed the Bangladesh Awami League. The formation of Parishad was inspired by Sheikh Hasina, the daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1985. The organization works as an independent think tank on Bangabandhu’s life and ideology. It has no allegiance to any other organization or central committee.
USA Bangabandhu Parishad organizes Bangabandhu conventions, Bangabandhu Memorial lectures, and observing the birthday and death anniversary of Bangabandhu in the USA. The main objective of USA Bangabandhu Parishad is to promote Bangabandhu’s ideology, which ensured the voice of the voiceless people. The organization believes, shares and promotes justice, equity, rights and freedom for humanity, not only for Bangladeshis.
