ShebaUSA, an IRS 501(c) (3), non-profit organization based in Jackson Heights, Queens, was established in 1997 to provide resources for immigrant communities in desperate need. Based on research findings and community needs assessments, ShebaUSA has focused on assisting low-income South Asian immigrant populations and immigrant women. ShebaUSA works for Bangladeshi, Nepali, Indian, Pakistani, and other immigrant communities in need.
ShebaUSA’s mission is to assist immigrant women and families with their pressing needs by providing services geared toward developing education, language, and job skills.
