Nrityanjali Dance Academy, AU is a Bangladeshi dance school for the Bangladeshi community living in Lackemba, Sydney, Australia. The school teaches Bangladeshi children various classic Indian and Bangladeshi dance lessons, thereby connecting them with their cultural roots. The Dance Academy also organizes various Bangla events, such as Boishakhi (Bangla New Year) and the Pitha (traditional cake) festival, as well as Holi and Depaboli, to help the new generation of Bangladeshi-Australian kids understand their culture.
In cooperation with other organizations, Nrityanjali Dance Academy AU also organizes the Bangla Folklore Festival, showcasing Bangladeshi art, craft, dance, song, drama, recitation, Puthi book reading, and instrumental performances.
