Founded in 2014, the Community Network for Disadvantaged People (CNDP) is a Melbourne-based Bangladeshi community organization that helps disadvantaged and underprivileged people and Communities within Australia and in Bangladesh. The organization is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization. The executive members are unpaid and work voluntarily. Members pay $60 to join the organization.
The mission of the organisation is to create a positive and meaningful impact on the lives of many disadvantaged people through fundraising efforts. CNDP aims to support individuals who face socio-economic challenges, including those who struggle to access necessities such as food, clothing, shelter, education, and medical care. Additionally, the CNDP provides support to those who lack financial or economic resources, suffer from health issues such as physical and mental disabilities, or are affected by natural calamities or disasters.
The Community Network for Disadvantaged People (CNDP) raises funds from its members and the community through a voluntary donation drive. Humanitarian and charitable funding activities are conducted through community bonding and social gatherings of Bangladeshis in Melbourne.
