Founded in 2000, Brisbane Bangla School (BAB), a Bangladeshi community-run institution, aims to educate Bangladeshi children in the Bangla language and foster their integration into Bangladeshi culture. Beyond academic excellence, the school actively organizes various Bangla and multicultural events to broaden students’ horizons and perspectives. Notably, the school welcomes students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.

The school teaches students the Bangla language, the national anthem, drawing, painting, songs, poetry, dance, poem recitation, and rhymes. Brisbane Bangla School also helps students to celebrate International Mother Language Day and Harmony Day.

Class

Classes are held every Saturday from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The tuition fee is $25 for a single student and $40 for a family of two. The classes are divided into Junior and Senior groups, catering to beginners and more advanced students, respectively. In addition to traditional lessons, the classes will also include fun activities like singing, reciting poems, and rhymes.

Early Childhood: Children under 6

Youth: Aged 15 to under 25

There are numerous car parking spaces conveniently located near Brisbane Bangla School. While children are at school, parents can easily visit nearby shopping centers, parks, or libraries.
