Founded in 2022, the Barisal Divisional Association of Buffalo, New York, is a Bangladeshi community association in Buffalo that represents the Barisal division of Bangladesh. The division consists of six districts – Barisal District, Barguna District, Bhola District, Jhalokati District, Patuakhali District, and Pirojpur District.
The association, also known as the Greater Barisal Divisional Association of Buffalo, New York, represents a group of Barisal people living in Buffalo. It was created to provide members with networking opportunities.
One important event of the association is celebrating the inauguration of the elected or selected members. Other events include organising picnics, iftars, Eid reunion, cultural and sports events, etc.
