Business Description
The Bangladeshi Community of West Michigan (BCWM), established in 2008, serves as a platform to represent and promote Bangladesh and Bangla culture in West Michigan. Led solely by volunteers from the community, BCWM operates with support from individuals, local businesses, and organizations that champion diversity and community welfare. The mission of the Bangladeshi Community of West Michigan is to foster mutual goodwill, understanding, and respect between the people of West Michigan and Bangladesh, contributing to social peace and harmony.

- Observe Bangla New Year (Boishakhi)
- Organize family-friendly picnics
- Organize a cultural program aligned with Bangladeshi culture
- Celebrate Bangladeshi cultural, religious, and national events
- Introduce the Bangladeshi culture to Bangladeshi kids and young people
- Encourage the Bangladeshi new generation to learn about Bangladesh
- Build a network to create a bond and support system among community members
