The Bangladesh Society of Central Florida (BSCF), a Kissimmee-based Bangladeshi nonprofit community organization, was incorporated in 2011. Its mission is to preserve and celebrate Bangladesh’s vibrant cultural heritage for those living in Orlando, Florida. BSCF aims to cherish and promote Bangladeshi culture, traditions, and values, passing them on to the next generation of Bangladeshi Americans. The organization seeks to expand Bangladeshi heritage and hospitality by fostering a meaningful connection to Bangladeshi roots, positively impacting the local community.
Bangladesh Society of Central Florida (BSCF) believes in unity through diversity and inclusivity. Bangladeshi Americans from all areas of Bangladesh can join BSCF regardless of age, religion, gender, education, or background.
Programs and Activities
As a cultural bridge for the Bangladeshi community in Central Florida, BSCF offers a welcoming space for cultural exchange, collaboration, and support. This organization focuses on enriching the community through a variety of programs and events:
- Cultural Celebrations:
– Bringing festivals like Pohela Boishakh, Eid, and Durga Puja to life with music, dance, and food.
– Organize food and cake festivals and competitions.
– Celebrate Bangladeshi national events. - Educational Programs:
– Offer Bangla language classes.
– Conduct traditional art workshops.
– Holding heritage sessions for future generations. - Social Events:
– Organize community picnics and charity drives.
– Provide networking opportunities to strengthen community bonds. - Youth & Family Activities:

Membership:
General membership is open to all Bangladeshi Americans living in Florida. Interested people can also join as volunteers or participate in any single event.
