The Greater Cumilla Society of Buffalo, NY Inc. (Greater Comilla Society of Buffalo) was established in 2022 as a non-profit charitable organization (DOS# 6637344). Its mission is to organize events, foster camaraderie, and promote a sense of unity among the people of Greater Cumilla, Bangladesh, who live in Buffalo. Greater Comilla encompasses three districts in the eastern region of Bangladesh: Comilla, Chandpur, and Brahmanbaria.
A team of executive members runs the society, elected every two years.
Activities
- Organize meetings and elections
- Organize annual picnics
- Organize Iftar parties and Eid reunions
- Organize the committee installation ceremonies
- Disseminate news related to Greater Cumilla to members and community members.
