Bangladesh Writers’ Club USA (BWCU) is a non-profit organization of Bangladeshi Bangla-speaking writers, poets, rhymers, lyricists, reciters, and musicians living in the United States. BWCU organizes monthly and impromptu meetups to showcase the talents of its members, celebrate literary events, and promote Bangladeshi literature and culture in the United States. The club offers supportive community activities where members can share their work, learn from each other, and promote Bangladeshi literature and culture.
In addition to meetups, BWCU also engages in a variety of other activities, including:
- Monthly poetry reading featuring the work of members
- Seminar on Bangladeshi literature in the diaspora
- Meetup for writing and presenting short stories, poetry, and songs
- Publication of an anthology of poems by BWCU members to showcase the work of its members
- Collaboration with other Bangladeshi and American cultural organizations to promote Bangladeshi literature and culture in the United States
BWCU is open to all Bangladeshi Bangla-speaking writers, poets, rhymers, lyricists, reciters, and musicians in the United States. Membership is free.
