Founded in 2017 by the Bangladeshi community in Brooklyn, the Royal Bengal Tea House (RBTH) is a community organization that builds community and supports expatriate communities of Bangladeshi origin. Royal Bengal Tea House also protects human rights, equality, and social justice, and promotes American values in the United States for all. Another prime focus of the organization is to unite and connect young leaders of Bangladeshi origin who are currently residing or studying in the USA. One of the ways RBTH does this is by maintaining the Bangladeshi Student Association Network Directory (BSAND), a comprehensive list of Bangladeshi student groups attending educational institutes in the USA, keeping everyone informed and connected.
Rooted in Bangladeshi culture, the organization celebrates the rich tapestry of global diversity through music, art, film, and events. As a New York City-based organization, the Tea House embodies the city’s spirit as a melting pot. It showcases international performances in Arabic, Bangla, English, Persian, Portuguese, Hindi, Spanish, and Urdu. The Tea House also provides a platform for emerging artists to share their work with a broader audience, fostering cultural exchange and artistic innovation.

- empower the Bangladeshi expatriate community as a whole by supporting and doing positive things
- mentor newly arrived young employees and students from Bangladesh, etc.
