Business Description

Bangladesh Australia Disaster Relief Committee (BADRC) is a community organization of Bangladeshi immigrants residing in Australia. Established in 1998 in Sydney, the organization’s primary objective is to provide humanitarian assistance to Bangladesh during times of natural disasters, including floods, earthquakes, cyclones, industrial accidents, and winter. BADRC actively encourages and collects donations from the Bangladeshi community, which are then promptly sent to the affected regions of Bangladesh. Additionally, the organization extends its support to natural disasters occurring in other countries.

BADRC’s objectives are to assist victims of natural disasters in Bangladesh and Australia. It helps community members alleviate poverty and offers financial support for education and health. This mission relies on selfless volunteer efforts, with zero administrative costs. Such humanitarian work is made possible through the dedication of an experienced management team, volunteers, and the generosity of community members.
