The Bangladesh Association of Nashville (BAN) is a dynamic cultural and community organization dedicated to promoting and preserving Bangladeshi heritage, fostering unity, and empowering the Bangladeshi diaspora in Nashville, Tennessee. Through leadership, advocacy, and vibrant programming, BAN strengthens cultural identity, facilitates social integration, and builds bridges between the Bangladeshi community and the broader Nashville population.

BAN organizes cultural events, educational workshops, and outreach initiatives that celebrate traditions, support youth development, and promote civic engagement. From legal advocacy and financial stewardship to art preservation and intergenerational mentorship, BAN ensures its members thrive while contributing to Nashville’s multicultural fabric.

Rooted in collaboration and inclusivity, BAN champions the values of service, education, and shared heritage—creating a home away from home for Bangladeshis and enriching the city’s diversity. The Association welcomes everybody, regardless of color, caste, race, ethnicity, and religion, who is interested in Bangla and Bangladeshi culture and heritage to join.
