Founded in USA as a not-for-profit organization in 2013, Joy Foundation for Hope works to improve the social and spiritual development of Bangladeshi as well as entire human community. The foundation works primarily in Bangladesh and India for the disadvantage people. The aim is to enhance people’s capacities to maximally utilize their inner potentials in addressing living needs. Joy Foundation for Hope’s activities include

  • help to the extremely poor children and family
  • educational scholarship
  • health and hygiene
  • food for hungry
  • caring for rickshaw pullers
  • help for disabled people.

The objectives of Joy Foundation for Hope are as follows:

  • To promote and develop of an understanding of Human Rights and Responsibilities among the public for the benefit of sick, distressed and disadvantaged group of people particularly for children’s Education and Health Care Services.
  • To provide technical assistance and physical facilities to other organizations and persons with similar objectives to conduct training, seminar, symposium, cultural events etc. including all sorts of community works.
  • the Foundation may engage in income generating and profit making activities but none of the income and profit shall be distributed to the Foundation Members who shall render voluntary service and any sort of income generated out of the activities of the Foundation would be utilized to attain the goal of the Foundation and in that sense the Foundation shall be a non-profit and voluntary Foundation.
  • To minimize the less fortunate people of Bangladesh by demonstrating love to all human being irrespective of caste, creed or race.
  • To provide development education to all the members of the target groups and to enhance the knowledge and skills needed to face the contemporary and future challenges of socio-economic development.
  • To print and publish or procure to be printed and published and to circulate or procure to be circulated, whether gratuitously or not, any newspapers, periodicals, magazines, books, pamphlets, leaflets or other documents.
  • To construct buildings, structures by way of new erections, renovations, improvements, extensions of any part of parts thereof to meet the purpose of the Foundation.
  • To establish or support any charitable Trusts, associations or institutions formed for any of the charitable purposes included in the Objects.
  • To co-operate with other charities, voluntary bodies and statutory authorities and to exchange information and associate with them.
  • To acquire, merge with or to enter into any partnership or joint venture arrangement with any other charity formed for any of the Objects.
  • To conduct training courses including capacity building activities, seminars, symposium, workshop relating to development activities, exposure visits and field visits.
  • To hold and conduct classes, lectures, conferences, seminars and competitions and to give scholarships, concessions in training fees, diplomas, certificates on
  • To make arrangement for obtaining visa, work permit and any other relevant papers needed to accommodate appointment of Resource Persons for the church under this Foundation and Expatriates. Development Program Consultants along with their respective for betterment and efficient management of churches. Development programs undertaken by this Foundation.
  • To provide support and administer social centers and other social institutions of similar nature and to develop strong teams of Facilitators/ Trainers.
  • To raise monies and receive contributions from any person or persons whatsoever by way of subscription, donations, fees, bequest and otherwise providing that the Company shall not undertake any permanent trading activities in raising funds for its primary object;
  • To purchase, take on lease or in exchange, hire of otherwise acquire any real or personal property and any rights or privileges which the Company may deem necessary for the promotion of its object, and to construct, maintain and alter any buildings or erections necessary for the work of the Company;
  • To invest the monies of the Company not immediately required for its purposes in or upon such investments, securities or property as may be thought fit, subject nevertheless to such conditions, if any, and such consents, if any, as may for the time being be imposed or required by law and subject also hereinafter provided;
  • To accept any gifts, subscriptions (whether or not under Deed of Covenant), donations, bequests or devises of lands, monies, securities or other real or personal property;
  • To draw, make, accept, endorse discount issue, promissory notes, bills of exchange and other negotiable or transferable instruments;
  • To act as Foundationees of any property, real or personal for any of the above objects of the Company or for any other charitable purpose that shall further the Object of the Company;
  • To undertake and execute any charitable Trusts which may be lawfully undertaken by the Foundation and which shall further its object
  • To borrow and raise money in such manner and on such security as the Directors may deem fit, and to issue debentures and other securities subject to such consents (if any) as may be required in law;
  • To open and operate bank account(s) in any or more than one schedule Bank in Bangladesh in the name of the Foundation.
  • To form executive committee, Advisory Committee or any other committee that may become necessary from time to time.
  • To recommend, make application to apply for enactment of laws for the benefit of common people.
  • To do all such other things as shall further the Object.
