US-Bangladesh Social Organization (US-BSO) is a group formed by Bangladeshis community living in Richmond, Virginia in 2007. The purpose of the US-BSO is to organize and promote Bangladeshi culture and heritage among Bangladeshi children born and brought up in the USA. US-Bangladesh Social Organization also wants to promote diversity so Bangladeshi community can assimilate here in USA economically, politically, socially and culturally. The Organization has Board of Founding Members, Board of Directors and Board of Patrons besides general members.
Mission
To promote and enhance the well being of the Bangladeshi community through
- Creating cultural awareness in our children so they can maintain their homogeneity in the community
- Keeping Bangla and Bangali heritage alive in USA
- Promoting diversity through incorporating our dream into the main stream.
Goals
- Organize efforts and implement programs to improve education and health in Bangladesh and US
- Organize and implement actions to instill the heritage, culture and values of Bangladesh and US to the next generation, and encourage acquiring and providing leadership roles in the community
- Organize and stage cultural activities through the active participation of both Bangladeshi and American communities
- Contribute meaningfully to the community through action-oriented programs in a proactive manner.

Pita party, picnic, Thanksgiving party, Pohela Boishak, children art fair, Eid festival etc,
US- Bangladesh Social Organization is a non-profit and non-government organization 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code.
