Business Description
Canadian Association for Bangladesh Development (CABD) is an organization for the Bangladeshi community in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Founded in 2004, the organization is not-for-profit and founded to implement programs that will reduce poverty in Bangladesh. The aims and objectives of the Canadian Association For Bangladesh Development are the following:
- Provide basic education for adults and children in literacy, mathematics, health and hygiene, and other life skills.
- Organize education and training programs for medical personnel, laboratory technicians, teachers, engineers, and others in similar fields to improve their performance in basic activities.
- Provide medical equipment, computers, and other equipment to hospitals, schools, and similar activities.
- Give technical assistance and advice to hospitals, schools, and similar institutions.
- Communicate, network, and cooperate with hospitals, schools, and other existing institutions to identify needs and complement and coordinate services.
- Engage in fund-raising activities and acquire, accept, collect, receive, and hold grants, gifts, donations, legacies, and devices to attain the corporation’s objectives.
- Provide childcare services for working mothers living below the poverty line.
- Do all such things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objects of the corporation.

- Free Day Care Center for Underprivileged Children in Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Education for Under-Privileged Children
