Bangladesh Forum of Australia (BFA) is an organization of the Bangladeshi community in Sydney, Australia. Founded in 2015 as a registered charity, Bangladesh Forum of Australia is a non-profit, non-political, and non-discriminatory organization. The principal aim of BFA is to help newly arrived immigrants, students, and visitors to make Australia feel like home. The organization helps them with information on housing, jobs, health, education, transportation, and recreation. BFA also organizes social and cultural events to make the transition easy for the Bangladeshi community. Bangladesh Forum of Australia has been recognized as an umbrella where Bangladeshi Australians gather to celebrate their success and introduce their vibrant culture to this Great multicultural Commonwealth.
Missions of Bangladesh Forum of Australia:
- To develop information, advice, assistance, and help local communities, primarily the Bangladeshi and other communities;
- To assist in supporting and initiating community development initiatives aimed at eradicating deprivations and disadvantages;
- To build a great, productive, peaceful multicultural society;
- To help victims of natural disasters and humanitarian aid in Bangladesh and Australia;
- To connect the Bangladeshi community with the larger Australian society;
- To improve the quality of life for all local residents, focusing the Bangladeshi diaspora.
