The Bangladeshi Community Association of Saskatchewan (BCAS) is committed to serving the needs of Bangladeshis residing in Saskatoon and the surrounding areas of Canada. However, the association welcomes everyone interested in Bangladesh as well as in Saskatoon. It is a non-profit, non-political, social organization. The Bangladeshi Community Association of Saskatchewan aims to foster a sense of unity among all Bangladeshis by helping one another, celebrating cultural events together, and upholding family values. The organization acts as a platform for networking, understanding, and co-operation among community members. The association is run by elected officials and with member’s consent.
BCAS engages in various activities, including cultural events, celebrations of Bangladeshi national events, folk festivals, health information sessions, assistance to the impoverished in Bangladesh and natural disaster victims, and participation in Canada’s cultural festivals to represent Bangladesh.
BCAS also runs a Bangla Heritage Language School for Bangladeshi children.
