Founded in 2001, Campbelltown Bangla School is a peaceful learning environment created for Bangladeshi young children from kindergarten through to upper primary school. The school teaches Bangladeshi kids how to read, write, and speak in Bangla. The main goal is to inspire children about Bangla heritage, culture, and language.
School runs from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm every Sunday. The first two hours are dedicated to Bangla language activities, while the last hour is reserved for music. Apart from classes, the school celebrates various social and cultural days of Bangladesh. For example, Ekushey February (International Mother Language Day), Independence and Victory Day of Bangladesh, and Pahela Boishakh.
On average, 50 to 60 students attend Campbelltown Bangla School each year.
