Al-Ashraaf Secondary School is an Islamic school run by Bangladeshi community of Ilford, London, UK. The school was founded in 2012 to provide Islamic education to Bangladeshi and other Muslim communities of Tower Hamlets, London. Al-Ashraaf Secondary School follows national curriculum from Year 7 to Year 11 but retain the opportunity to offer an alternative education as and when appropriate. The school has Islamic Curriculum to make students Aalim, Hifz or master them in Islamic teachings. Along with the core subjects of English, math and science, the school offers ICT, history, geography, Arabic as a modern foreign language, PSHCE, PE, arts, and religious studies (in addition to Islamic Studies).

Al-Ashraaf has “Extra-Learning”, at the rate of one each month, when the timetable is given over to a specific activity in which students and teachers join to learn but also to have fun. Study Club members (a small number students are chosen for their hard work, good behavior and high attendance) are given extra educational trips in addition to the normal school visits to museums, castles, etc.

The school offers competitive fee for education. Admission fee £300, and monthly fees are £250-£260 per month depending on class level. There is some discount for bulk payment. All students wear Islamic dress at the school – white Jubbah/Thaub, white hat/topee, trousers above ankle, black blazer with school badge etc.
