DESCRIPTION:Tasher Desh by BIPA – Free drama event for all. \nTasher Desh or the Land of Cards is a dance opera by Rabindranath Tagore. The drama will be presented by students of BIPA (Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts) to celebrate Bangla New Year. The opera is in English. Tasher Desh is satirical look at tyranny and control and celebrates freedom of speech and thoughts – a battle between new ideas and old tradition.
