DESCRIPTION:Funeral of the Bangladeshi-origin NYPD officer Didarul Islam will be held on Thursday\, July 31st  at the Bronx\, Parkchester Jame Masjid. \nNYPD officer Didarul Islam\, 36\, a dedicated officer and father of two\, was tragically killed on duty in a mass shooting on Monday\, July 28\, in Midtown Manhattan\, leaving behind a pregnant wife and a community in mourning. Officer Islam was killed with three other victims. He joined the NYPD in 2021\, where he dedicated himself to serving the city and the New Yorkers with honor.
