Rafida Ahmed Speaks at UC Riverside

Rafida Ahmed, the wife of Avijit Roy, who was hacked to death by machete-wielding assailants in Bangladesh in February 2015, will give a talk titled: “Machettes, fundamentalism and rationalism: what does history tell us?: reflections by Rafida Ahmed, Blogger/Writer and the widow of murdered Bangladeshi/US writer Dr. Avijit Roy.”
Ahmed will discuss her unique perspective in conversation with Nigel Hughes, a professor of earth sciences at UC Riverside.
