Bondhon: Festival of Cultures 2016

Bondhon: Festival of Cultures 2016 is a festival of cultures from various countries who will present their cultural heritage through dance and music. The event is free and open to all. Following groups will perform at the event:
Shivajyothi Dance Academy
Srijan Dance Center
Russian Folk Ensemble: The Golden Rooster
Chinese Dance: Color of the Winds
Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts (BIPA)
Ecuadorian Group Wawakuna
Bangla Band: The Feringhees
Smash works Dance Collectives
The event is made possible in part by the Queens Council of the Arts with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. The program is sponsored in part by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
