Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia

Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia is located in Riyadh, the capital of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The embassy was opened in 1976. The embassy has a consulate office in Jeddah. Ever since the establishment of Bangladesh Embassy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Mission has been making efforts to further strengthen bilateral ties and bring the two countries closer. The Embassy is specially focusing on promotion of trade and investment cooperation between Bangladesh and Saudi Kingdom. One of the most important responsibilities of the Embassy in Riyadh is to look after the welfare of Bangladeshi community living in the Kingdom. Consular teams visit different parts of Saudi Arabia to provide various types of services. The Embassy also provides legal assistance to Bangladeshis in need. The Embassy in Riyadh also looks after Bangladesh’s relations with Ethiopia and Sudan as countries of concurrent accreditation.

The Embassy has five wings: Diplomatic Wing, Defense Wing, Economic and Commercial Wing, Labor Wing and Banking Wing.
