Alumni Association of Chittagong University North America, Inc. (CU Alumni Association, North America) is an alumni of ex- students of Chittagong University of Bangladesh now living in USA and Canada. Founded in 2002, it is a not-for-profit, non-political, non-religious and open organization for ex-students of Chittagong University to keep connection.
The general objectives of the association are
- to create a social platform for ex-students of Chittagong University in USA
- to help each other to develop work life and family life
- to practice Bangladeshi culture, tradition, heritage
- to celebrate important Bangladeshi national and cultural events
- to organize meetings, discussions, receptions of important event and persons
- to help future Bangladesh-American to be an ideal citizen with good balance of multicultural understanding
- to raise fund for scholarship for poor and disadvantage students in Bangladesh
Alumni Association of Chittagong University North America is run by a committee of 12 members who are elected each year by the members of the association.
