BACDYS (Bangladeshi American Community Development and Youth Services, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2011 by Misba Abdin, a business owner, community activist, and life-long resident of East New York. BACDYS borders the neighborhoods of East New York, Brooklyn and Ozone Park, Queens, and serves residents from both boroughs.

BACDYS’ mission is to provide low-income youth and adults in New York City with the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to change their lives for the better. BACDYS focuses on four key areas: affordable housing, education, youth programs, and entertainment.

BACDYS is committed to empowering low-income youth and adults in New York City. BACDYS believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their dreams.
