Brooklyn Bangla School

Opened in 2017, Brooklyn Bangla school offers Bangla speaking and writing help to new generation of Bangladeshi kids in Brooklyn/Kensington area, New York. The aim of the school is to familiarize US born Bangladeshi children and youth with Bangladeshi language, culture and tradition. Brooklyn Bangla School offers free classes to all on every Sunday from 3 pm to 6 pm at a local venue in Brooklyn.

The school can accommodate 15-20 students with 7-10 student in each session. The lessons are interactive and fun. Emphasis are given to learning how speak and write Bangla alphabets and correct way to construct sentences. Books and learning materials are are provided free when necessary. There is no steadfast curriculum to follow and there is no formal exam.

A registration is required to attend the classes. Brooklyn Bangla School is sponsored by Bangladesh Society of New York.
