Bangladeshi Parents and Carers Association

Founded in 1998, the Bangladeshi Parents and Carers Association (BPCA) is a specialist voluntary organization working with people with multiple disabilities. The organization stated as a project to help Bangladeshi families of London Borough of Tower Hamlets who needed dependency care. Located in Bethnal Green and Plaistow, Bangladeshi Parents and Carers Association provides culturally appropriate day service for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and sensory disabilities. BPCA offers various kinds of educational, social and leisurely activities. The center has fully equipped with training facility, state of art sensory room, arts and craft workshop and multipurpose activity rooms. All services of BPCA are available to adults of Bangladeshi and all minority and ethnic communities.

Bangladeshi Parents and Carers Association provides both center based and community based service. Services can be tailored-made to fit the need of the individual. BPCA is committed to provide a learning, working and social environment in which the rights and dignity of all of its members are respected. All services are designed to help greater involvement of those who are disabled as well as their parents, care-givers or guardians.
