Based in Queens of New York, New York Mohanagar Awami League is a political group who supports the Bangladesh Awami League. The organization has been developed following the model of Dhaka Mohanagar Awami League. Following the aims and ideals of Bangladesh Awami League, the group implements and coordinates various policies and events when Bangladeshi senior party officials visit the USA. New York Mohanagar Awami League also organizes events on Bangladesh Independence day, Bangladesh Victory Day, National Mourning day of August 15, etc.
The organization has several branches – Mohanagar Awami League Queens, Mohanagar Awami League Brooklyn, Mohanagar Awami League Manhattan, Mohanagar Awami League Ozone Park and Mohanagar Awami League Church-McDonald.
