Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts

The Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts, also known as BIPA, is a non-profit social-cultural organization based in New York City. BIPA was launched in 1993 with a view to keeping alive the rich Bangla cultural tradition among Bangladeshi immigrants, and to acquaint the American mainstream with Bangladeshi/Bangla/Bengali heritage. BIPA offers classes in Brooklyn and Queens.

1) Offers language, dance, music and instrumental classes
2) Provides opportunities and support for established and emerging Bangladeshi artists and performers
3) Promotes harmonious relationship through cultural activities between the Bangladeshi-American communities, regardless of ethnic or social origin.
