Sitara Boishakhi Mela to celebrate Bangla New Year in New York. The event is organized by Jamaica Bangladesh Friends Society, Inc. New York. ‘Panta Illish’ – the traditional Bangla New York food will be a special attraction (12:00 -1:00 pm only). Cultural and pitha (cake) festival to commemorate Bangla ‘noboborsho’ (New Year)
