Borshobaran

Borshobaran (বর্ষবরন) – The program is organized by Drama Circle in Astoria, New York. Borshobaran is part of Boishakhi festival – Bangla New Year. ‘Panta’ and ‘Ilish’ (water soaked rice and Hilsa fish), various kinds of ‘vorta’ (mashed goodies), and other Bangladeshi food items will be available. This event is free. All are welcome to participate. Come dressed in traditional Bangladeshi Boishakhi dress.
