BIPA Bangla New Year Parade 2017

FreeBoishakhi or Bangla New Year of 1424 will be celebrated by Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts (BIPA) in Long Island City, NY on April 23rd. BIPA students, teachers, parents, supporters and Bangladeshi community will take part at the annual Bangla New Year parade with mask, motives, festoon etc. Attendees can taste the traditional Bangladeshi food and snack at the event. Open to all and free.
12:00 pm – Kids entertainment, magic show, cotton candy, balloon, face paining, clown
02:00 pm – Bangla New Year Parade along 36th and 37th streets of LIC
04:00 pm – Prize distribution of Bangladeshi Youth talent winners + performance
